NO to Globalization by Francisco Aquino

RADIOWEEKEND

This is a communications site for those who want to find a role for radio
in helping communities survive the ecological and economic crisis.

We are looking for radio programs with concrete solutions that can be duplicated. Categories so far are posted at the top of each page.
There are many such projects already under way and we hope to see them posted to inspire other communities to use them and develop their own.

The designer of radio4all and Audioport is working on making  this site open to all postings. He is developing a blog to make it possible for us to discuss the entries.

This extra step made it impossible to complete the site by the beginning of the GRC conference.
You will be able to find the finished site under: http://www.radioweekend.net

Please mail any comments and additions to Maria Gilardin at tuc@tucradio.org and I will post them until the site is automated.
Comments:
There are some great projects and radio programs under way in the area where I now live. We have localization projects in the towns of Willits and Ukiah, CA - and the local radio station, KZYX and Z, has several programs that can be heard on the stream:
All Pacific Daylight Time:

The Renewable Energy Hour, every second Monday, 9 to 10 am PDT
Farm and Garden Show, Mondays, 1 to 2 pm PDT
Ecology Hour, Tuesdays, 7 to 8 pm PDT
Trading Time, Saturdays 11 am to noon PDT
ALL on KZYX and Z
Direct link to the stream: http://www.kzyx.org/joomla/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=66&Itemid=27

Please let me know what is happening in your area! Maria Gilardin
